Father Daniel Hennessy, LC is a member of the religious congregation of the Legionaries of Christ since 1993. He was ordained a priest in 2006 after a long period of study and preparation which took him to Connecticut, New York, Rome, Venezuela and back to Rome. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. Prior to coming to the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, Father Daniel served for seven years as a retreat master, spiritual director and guide for faith formation programs in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he has enjoyed being immersed in different cultures and making friends with people from so many different places and walks of life. He loves discovering God and his goodness in the artistic expression of the human spirit, but also in the wonderful beauty of nature. Father Daniel loves learning, and is always ready for a cycling excursion or a quiet spot on a river for some fly-fishing.
